SNOW DAY ACROSS THE REGION!

Wintry weather made a grand appearance Sunday and Monday as 8 to 11 inches of snow was dumped on Southeast Michigan. According to the Purple Walrus Press Weather Center 8 inches of snow fell on Ypsilanti. Okay, the PWP Weather Center is really my backyard, it just sounds cool.  Kids across the area think the snow is awesome, but the grown ups think its a pain in the, um, neck. Actually, the snow looks beautiful as long as you don't have to drive in it.

Area schools are closed and the roadways slick. So if you don't have to travel, stay home.

As of 10:00 am Monday the snow is much heavier than it was Sunday so be careful and take your time shoveling for your health safety.
