Like most everyone else in our country I've been closely following news coverage of the Brett Kavanaugh state of affairs and like many people I've been appalled by the dismissive attitude directed toward Christine Blasey Ford on part of many in the GOP. On other hand, I applaud the way in which Republican Senator Jeff Flake reached across the aisle to Democratic Senator Chris Coons while struggling with his decision regarding Kavanaugh on Friday.
That being said there will be a Stand with Survivors Rally in Ann Arbor on Thursday October 4. The rally will be held on the Diag on the University of Michigan campus at 5:30 PM.. The rally is in solidarity with Dr. Blasey Ford and all sexual assault survivors. According to demonstration organizers the event is an inclusive, peaceful rally. Children are welcome.
