Ann Arbor Public Schools Will Close Due To COVID 19 Pandemic.

At approximately 5:30 PM today, Ann Arbor Public Schools announced a district wide closure. According to a statement from AAPS, "In Ann Arbor Public Schools, students will be in session for a half day, tomorrow, Friday, March 13, and AAPS staff will be on duty for a full day, then the district will close with an anticipated return on April 6th, after the end of our scheduled spring break." According to AAPS, while the school district is closed Ann Arbor Public Schools will be monitoring the situation and posting updates.
The action was taken in conjunction with the Washtenaw County Health Department, the City of Ann Arbor, the Washtenaw School District and the Michigan Department of Education.
