On Wednesday morning, June 12, Purple Walrus Press received information from the Ypsilanti Police Dept that windows had been broken out in the 500 block of Cross Street in Ypsilanti on Tuesday evening, and that the investigation was on-going.
Later in the day it was stated in a message from Ypsilanti Mayor Beth Bashert, that on Tuesday evening, June 11, between 5 pm and 7 pm, BB gun shots fired by someone driving past in a vehicle went though the windows of several businesses in Ypsilanti, including Sidetrack Bar and Grill in Depot Town.
Police have a potential suspect according to the message from the mayor.
