Friday evening the Trump opposition organization Love Resilience Action Ypsi held an event downstairs at Bona Sera Restaurant in Ypsilanti called Sharing Space after the Trump Inauguration. The event runs until around 11pm. According to their facebook page  Love Resilience Action Ypsi grieves the loss of dignity, progress, and civility in the country. The group advocates opposition to the policies of the Trump administration.

Love Resilience Action Ypsi coordinated Friday nights event in order for the community to come together and share their grief and solidarity. There was also an Open Mic for music and expression.

Love Resilience Action is also coordinating a Trump opposition march scheduled for Saturday beginning at noon in Ypsilanti. Friday nights event at Bona Sera Restaurant centered around creating signs and banners for Saturdays People Power Celebration, Community & Resource Gathering.

I spoke to Eugene Kutz at Friday nights event. He is a Journalism student at Michigan State University. Eugene stated that, "I will be participating in the march in Ann Arbor Saturday. I'm happy to see this was happening in Ypsilanti. There are a lot of good things happening in town and there are a lot of beautiful people in the city."

The Saturday Trump opposition march will begin at noon at Bona Restaurant located at 200 W. Michigan Ave. in downtown Ypsilanti. According to the groups site, "The march will be a loop and will end at Bona Sera for a Celebration of People Power."
