Wednesday evening Ypsilanti City Council approved a contract for incoming Ypsilanti City Manager Darwin McClary. McClary will make a salary of $100,000. Ypsilanti City Council approved the contract by a vote of 5-2. McClary will begin as City Manager most likely at the end of February. Richardson and Robb voted against the contract according to a source.
