Political activist and scholar Angela Davis has a new book out titled Freedom Is A Constant Struggle. Her latest book is a collection of essays, speeches and interviews that engage the issues of justice and oppression. In this collection of essays Angela Davis addresses Prison Reform and the Black Freedom Movement within the United States and abroad.
Personally, I have been a big fan of Angela Davis ever since I was a teenager back in the seventies. I have been fortunate enough to have seen several of her speeches in person, and have to say that I have never heard a more powerful and eloquent speaker.
