BLACK EYED PEAS RAPPER SPEAKS TO YOUNG PEOPLE IN FLINT

It is clear that the young people of Flint are a major priority for for Black Eyed Peas Rapper Taboo. He spoke to, let me re-phrase that, he LISTENED to 25 people including many young people from Flint at The Community Foundation of Greater Flint on Saturday.

I personally am very moved by the fact that Taboo came to Flint with the sole purpose of listening to young people in the city. Unfortunately, there don't seem to be many opportunities for young people in Flint to express themselves in this kind of forum regarding the Flint water crisis.

This Flint visit by Taboo is so incredibly inspiring and motivating for people in the community and provides exactly the kind of support people need.

Listen, the State of Michigan certainly has not extended this kind of support or empathy for young people in Flint. What a shining example of love and unity Taboo has shown the entire community.
