The Anti-Defamation League issues security advisory to Jewish institutions nationwide

In the wake of recent bomb threats The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) New York has issued a Security Advisory to Jewish institutions  across the United States. According to a February, 27, 2017 ADL press release, "The Anti-Defamation League has issued a Security Advisory to Jewish institutions across the country following a new wave of bomb threats to Jewish Community Centers (JCCs) and day schools in several states."

Monday, February, 27, 2017, Jewish institutions in at least twelve states, including Michigan, received  bomb threats. These states include Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Virginia.

According to The Anti-Defamation League, "While this latest round of bomb threats to Jewish Community Centers and day schools across the country again appears to not be credible, we are nonetheless urging all Jewish institutions to review their procedures."

As reported by Purple Walrus Press there was a bomb threat Monday morning, February, 27, 2017 at The Jewish Community Center in Arbor. Monday morning a call was placed to the Hebrew Day School connected to the Jewish Community Center. The caller said there was a bomb in a backpack that was going to detonate.
