EASTERN MICHIGAN BASKETBALL SUFFERS LOSS AT HOME

It was a close game, but in the end EMU lost to MAC rival Buffalo 77-68 at the Convocation Center Saturday. Though EMU played tough they were inconsistent in rebounding and Buffalo took full advantage.

With little time in the first half EMU led by 8 points, but lack of offensive rebounding and mental mistakes were their downfall by the time the clock ran out. The EMU defense continued to play strong but to no avail.

Willie Mangum led the Eagles in scoring with 17 points. EMU sophomore Baylee Steele played strong with 12 points.

Next up for Eastern Michigan will be the Falcons of Bowling Green at Bowling Green Tuesday, Jan 10 at 7pm.
