AAU Junior Olympic Games come to a close Saturday, Aug 5 at Eastern Michigan University.

Saturday, August 5, 2017 was the final day for AAU Junior Olympic Games being held this year at Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti. The AAU  Olympic Games are widely known as the largest multi-sport event for youth in the United States. This year the event was held at Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, July 28 through August 5, 2017.

The events ranged from 7v7 football and Track and Field to Jump Rope and Tumbling. That's quite a variety of events.

Saturday was the final day of competition at the AAU Junior Olympic Games and a sizable crowd was on hand to view the final Track and Field event Saturday morning and in the early afternoon.

Most importantly, the participating athletes looked thrilled and excited to be competing at this years Junior Olympic Games located here in Ypsilanti.
