School will soon be back in session at Eastern Michigan University (my alma mater) and EMU students are being welcomed back to town and campus in fun fashion. Check out Cross Street Block Party: Back to School Edition! The event will take place Thursday, September 7 from 8 pm to 11 pm. The event is being hosted by Friends Closet, Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea Ypsi, The Wurst Bar, Tower Inn Cafe and Insomnia Cookies

These Ypsi business's will be teaming up and bringing you a fun filled evening of music, outdoor grilling and fantastic drink specials. Your first Thursday back in town will be a blast.

All are welcome, not just EMU students.Bring your friends and family, even your pets! This according to Eastern Michigan University Campus Life EMU Student Government.
